It is not necessary to have your shoes before the first day of class!

Group/class fittings
Included with YK Dance Arts class tuition. Will be coordinated early next fall. Dancers may also coordinate fittings before/after their classes if the schedule allows (i.e. I am not teaching back-to-back classes). If class sizes are small, fittings may also be offered as a part of the first day of class (applicable for classes that require ballet shoes only).
Some shoe styles/sizes are in stock and ready to purchase, others will need to be fitted and then ordered. Shoes available cost between $25-$31+GST depending on model/size ordered. All shoes in stock & used for fitting are 'ballet pink' colour, however other colours of shoes may be ordered. YK Dance Arts will be fitting specifically for the following three shoe models:

Capezio Daisy ($29.50+GST, child sizes only, must be fitted and then ordered)

Capezio Luna ($25-$30+GST, child & adult sizes, must be fitted and then ordered)

Bloch Dansoft (adult sizes only, in stock in minimal sizes that are ready to sell at clearance price of $31+GST, if you'd like to order this shoe in a size that is not in stock/on clearance, it will likely cost more than the in-stock clearance shoes).
*note that finding a good fit is important! Fit should allow for the toes to fully stretch/lengthen, while also hugging the arch of the foot and not being to baggy/causing the dancer to trip. Fit/sizing is different between all three models. Leather will stretch. Sizes generally change from 'child' to 'adult' somewhere between sizes 1-3, this varies between brands and within models of the same brand.
